Letter to Santa

Dear Santa,

Oh this year has been rough on me. With the world in turmoil, I have a big list of things to tell you. So here goes.

To begin with , my Mom has been on my nerves. I've been making my bed about 4 times a week, but she wants me to do it every day. That's tough for a 6 year old.

And then there's my brother Jack. Well, he's older, as you know by a few years and while we used to play together, now he only plays with his fish, Chris. I guess what I'm saying is that I need new friends.

Then Dad is so busy at work, trying to make ends meet for us, that I wish he could spend more time with me. I want to go skiing with him , up in Vermont but he says this year money is so tight that he doesn't think he will be able to go. That's ok, as long as I can see him more. He runs his own business, manufactures cables and Santa, he's my idol. You already know that .

Last night, all of my cousins took me into town to see the Christmas lights and boy, it was soo special. It was raining though, and I was wishing, with all my might, that we could have a little snow. Do you think you could make it snow for Christmas this year?

And then there is my older sister, Amy, well, I love her to pieces and she is working so hard on her business. I hardly ever get to see her either. She's got a crush on an older guy, Santa and she even took me to New York City to meet him. Well, as he's the Cats Meow! He's tall, dark, handsome and a really nice guy. He's her best male friend and she talks to him many times a day online. So Santa please, with all my heart, if could somehow put the two of them together, I would be soo happy. Maybe you could send her to New York so she could see him.

What I'm asking for this Christmas is that my family gets more family time, as I love them with all my heart.

Please, Santa, keep us safe this year and in your prayers. Plus, I'd like a reindeer ride up to the North Pole to see you and Mrs. Claus. I'd love to build a snowman with you and the elves. And Santa, I wish you and Mrs. Claus a wonderful, happy Christmas season.
