We write poems for all types of religious ceremonies, including church anniversaries, christenings, vows, and bar mitzvahs to name a few. Here's an example of a baptism poem we wrote for Pam, whose baby grandson was just born.

She was overjoyed, "Amy, I don't know what to say! It was so beautiful, it brought tears to my eyes right away. You really touched my heart with this one."

Baptism Poem

Dear Brandon,

Dear Brandon, child of light
May the joy in your life never stop.
On this day of your Baptism
I'm with you, your Pop-Pop.

Just so you know for sure,
Without any cause or care.
Be certain of one thing:
In your heart, I'm always there.

We'll never have the chance to do
The thing I did with your Dad.
Like camping or those football games,
Oh, the fun we had!

But I know you guys will do it all,
Great pals right from the start.
The fact that you have such loving folks
Brandon, it fills my heart.

'Cause one thing I learned in my time
Is that family means so much.
Sharing love and values,
And keeping souls in touch.

On that note of values,
We're Christian in all ways
And as I taught your Dad,
He'll teach you for all your days.

I thank the Lord I had the chance
To hold you with such love.
To gaze upon your wondrous face
And shine from up above.

That altogether precious chance
To see you come to be?
It meant the world, I have to say,
It set my soul so free.

Still I wish that time allowed us
To share so very much more.
To venture on the open road,
There's a great big world to tour.

And camping just the way we did
When your Dad and I would go.
The thought alone of all those times
Fills my heart with warmth to glow.

You're in the safe protection
Of the family cocoon.
Brandon, you have so much love
It makes your Pop-Pop swoon.

Your wonderful Dad, such a great guy,
And your Mom, dear Emilie.
Grandma Pam who loves you so
It's all so good to see.

'Course you have a special angel,
Looking down from heaven bright.
The angel is me, your Pop-Pop
And I'm with you day and night.

So on this day of your ascension
So much passes on to you
Fill your soul with love, dear little one,
A golden life, brand new!

Brandon, child of light
Make your life so rich with joy,
You're a wonder for us all,
And a very loving boy.

Love,

Your Pop-Pop
